The Shadow Seraphs are considered among the most formidable and enigmatic of the Guardian Orders. They were the First Legion.

Though they profess unwavering loyalty and service to the Eternal Sovereign, their actions and hidden objectives sometimes appear to contradict this declared allegiance. The Shadow Seraphs are driven by an unrelenting need to atone for a grave transgression committed over 10,000 cycles ago against the trust of the Eternal Sovereign during the cataclysmic Age of Dissent.
